The female body and brain are profoundly shaped by hormonal rhythms—yet most models of stress and nervous system regulation ignore these cycles.
In this two-hour interactive workshop, we will guide you through the intersection of hormones, stress physiology, and the female nervous system. And you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of how to calibrate practical tools for yourself and your clients to build greater capacity, reduce stress reactivity, and honor the unique physiology of the female bodies.
Mini-course with workshop slides + Evergreen access to 2 hour replay with tools and somatic practices + TR Video Episodes = $75
What You’ll Learn...
- The science of hormones and stress: how shifts across the menstrual, follicular, ovulatory, and luteal phases shape cortisol release, threat sensitivity, and the nervous system’s ability to regulate and recover.
- Why traditional models of stress miss the mark for women—and how applied neuroscience fills the gap.
- Somatic practices + NSI tools to regulate stress, balance capacity, and integrate hormonal fluctuations.
- How to use relational and body-based tools to help female clients move from burnout to resilience.
- Frameworks to support clients in honoring cyclical rhythms while working toward their goals.

Coaches, therapists, and wellness professionals seeking to understand the unique physiology of female NS and bring nervous system-informed somatic practices to their work.
NSI-certified practitioners looking to earn continuing education credits and deepen their ability to serve female clients.
This is a practitioner level workshop but anyone curious about how hormones shape stress, emotion, and regulation in the body is welcome!

Closing the Gap: Hormones, Stress & Modulatiom
Most nervous system models are built on male physiology—leaving out the complexity of women’s hormonal cycles, stress responses, and lived experiences.
The result? Practitioners and clients alike end up with tools that don’t fully meet their needs.
This workshop changes that. By weaving applied neuroscience from NSI with somatic practices rooted in women’s health, we will show you how to honor the unique rhythms of the female nervous system. You’ll walk away with a new lens for understanding stress in women—and a toolkit of practices to help yourself and your clients shift from dysregulation and burnout into resilience, capacity, and growth.
